fide white person since I'm ethnically not white, but we still are racist. We benefit from global and local racism.
-
If that upsets you more than the fact that people around the world die and are less privileged that you in the UK and in general because
-
they aren't white, then it's deeply worrying.
-
Being scared of being called a racist, so scared in fact that you shut down the debate by calling it "bigoted" is what I'm talking about.
-
If being called a racist is the most "bigoted" (in your words) thing that's happened to you today, then you're privileged to the max.

Generalising about an entire race is racist. Like generalising about an entire sex/class is sexist/class-biased.
-
No, calling white people racist is not racist. Have you always spouted right wing rhetoric like this?
-
Try to stay out of these debates on Twitter but... wow. If you are "white" you are racist. If you disagree that's "right wing rhetoric". Ok.
-
Well, as you can see this is less of a debate than a rehash of populist rhetoric. A shame really
-
What if she said all humans are prejudiced and since racism = prejudice + power only white people have systemic power behind their prejudice
-
Your 'since' is flawed. Racism != prejudice + Power. This is yet another populist definition. You can be racist without power
-
Um no... not populist. It's a sociological definition. It's how racism is commonly defined in academic circles.

-
On a serious note, let's not confuse correlation with causation. Power is an uber-enabler, not a pre-requisite. As it is with sexism etc
