Sorry to hear that. I just like to get some movement once in a while. When I still used to smoke I got it automatically, now not so much.
Yeah, I'm never still cos of how much I fidget & I get up from my desk > once an hour (toilet break, snack) — I see why you might stand.
Dramatic irony: my desk is a standing desk. It has a thing that makes it into one. 
I never use it and you can push the hand crank in so it's not visible.

One great thing about it though is that I can use it to make the desk the correct height for me when I am sitting.
Can't sit for hours on end. Too much nervous energy, even without caffeine
! Standing is rather like a fidget spinner, helps me focus.
Yeah, I just actually actually fidget. But standing would be endless suffering for me.

Oh, no worries, just thought it's important to say standing is a choice that should be respected neither an ideal nor something to mock.
