I think sometimes it's more about making an atmosphere/giving an impression than about teaching somebody something, if that makes sense.

I worry that Twitter often (with its big(?) audiences) creates unwelcoming/exclusive clique-y atmosphere.

And there's truth to what Twitter presents, e.g., that certain groups of people behave in certain ways but IMHO it polarises things since
