If you have privilege, use it to call out your fellow privileged folks when they are engaging in bigoted, destructive behavior.

Totally. And I will say that teaching doesn't mean you have to agree or give credence to the bigotry you're weeding out in people.

I really worry about this. I see so many ERCs/URMs being burned out by trying to get through to others on social media.

I use social media more to build supportive, cooperative spaces for URMs than to engage priv folks. I will, ofc, but it's less effective

I think both are important but it's about what each of can do and what each of us can effectively do without burnout etc.
