In my case it is even written down, including their responsibility to give timely feedback. I think it's normal and healthy to remind them.

Shit, I've met people in multi-year projects where their supervisor/lead CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT THEY'RE WORKING ON. Seen as utterly disposable.
