Other things that are useful that I REALLY recommend you do are: 1) take print outs of your poster to hand out to people, these really help

if you want people to remember you; 2) practise two versions of your poster a long and short one (maybe 5 minutes and 10), this is so great

because you also can switch between the two if you need to based on audience's interest and 3) always make sure you go and check the area

your poster will be as soon as you can. This is useful because there might be better ways to stand etc that you haven't realised because of

Extra data, esp if you put on
@OSFramework or similar with a DOI etc is so#openscience and cool.

You can also put your poster up on @figshare so the poster has a DOI too.
