Yea so it seems cog neuro would be my choice under that definition, I actually thought behavioral neuro was the human and animal side of it
I'm technically not accepted by anybody in the so-called same field so is that kind of the same thing?

Why is that? Also I've managed to "narrow down" my passions to 3 things: Neuro, bio, space now combining them is the trick

Computational modellers aren't super loved/accepted, for one. But I have other marginalised identities which also "help" to be excluded.

-
Have you been to math psych or
@CNSorg ? -
Not yet. But I've to ICCM and NCPW which are just modellers. A few days with similar people doesn't make you forget the rest of the year tho
-
but now I'm in a lab that is computational 100% AND I'm not the only modeller.
-
I actually won best poster at ICCM even though it's just fro ACT-R people pretty much. No idea how that happened.

First time I attended ICCM I also had no clue that it was primarily for/by ACT-R modellers.
-
I was surprised myself. I wished my supervisor had told me actually. Not because there's anything wrong with ACT-R just wish I had known.
