I didn't have a migraine. I take daily preventatives and I switched from amitriptaline to nortriptaline.

Migraine preventatives, but yes also used (historically?) for other things. Most drugs go this way.

I've a very long history. Was on the lowest dose of beta blockers for years and years, switching away to amitriptaline etc is interesting.

I think not being as cold all the time and only half the time is a plus. But the migraines are just as bad so hopefully switching away from

combined to mini pill will also help. I often fear I'm having a stroke these days so less oestrogen will help.

I'm lost! Fucking t! Anyway, hormones and triggers are critical but I believe the effect is accumulative, thus a matter of keeping balance.

I see migraines (and IBS incidentally too) as modelled well by an accumulator model, exactly as you say.
