people still really struggle. Many have no idea for example a lot of people in academia survive in their job despite e.g., PTSD.

I think our voices being hear on our stress management given we have diagnoses for stress disorders is a useful thing for junior people.

I do think they both have a point and not. In general, I agree with your supervisor.
