I will always prefer a standalone doc that i can simply save to my dropbox. Journals that force me through crap html to get my pdf annoy me

I prefer pdf in most situations, mainly because stuff doesn't execute without my explicit permission. + All handling is easy via Mendeley.

Dunno. Used it during my bachelor and then revived my acc a year ago. Was glad to see my old libraries still being there.

What happened in between is like "don't know, don't care". >.< Uni provides EndNote for us, but I prefer Mendeley. Old habits, etc.
