The great thing is if you sagely safely push off while falling, if you do, you land on a mattress type thing.

I didn't last week and grazed my elbow bit that's pretty much it as it's a very soft landing even from right at the top.

I picked up rock climbing with the sports club from my uni a year ago - even competed in top rope in February!
