      It's not that journals will take papers in HTML - how you submit won't matter, but there'll be excellent HTML-native authoring tools

      HTML is better than PDF as default because we don't primarily print papers any more. PDF will still be useful but default should be better.

      HTML is far too unstandardized. Ask any comp sci about which is better. HTML is supposed to be semantics without formatting. (Now)

      Mostly because everyone in comp sci figured it that html was crap for formatting... When you need real layouts, you need a real Lang.

          Why would I argue for the removal of LaTeX? It's a good format. Saying HTML is good enough is wrong though.
