whether anybody should be anonymous, is to be determined, I think.

Also if I may say something a little rude (I'm actually English so I can survive saying this) but the reason there are a lot of interesting
-
threads is because I don't feel particularly aligned to any of the open science cliques I have noticed forming around certain themes so I
-
just mouth off because I find some behaviours they engage in pretty bad: from boorish to pretty much sexist and racist dog-whistle territory
-
LOL meant to say *not* actually English hence why I can survive being a little tactless.

-
and so yeah, I don't feel aligned to any particular group but I do notice that cliques are pretty tight knit — so obviously when I tweet
-
criticism direct or indirect of their behaviour they tend to cause a big fuss and start many threads about my tweets which makes me tweet
-
more and explain more and of course others too.
-
So this will probably continue happening because being by definition an outsider to these cliques my ideas are met with more resistance.
