I've been using git since about 2012 and this is the first time I've done this. 
which goes to show "are you sure you want to delete X?" doesn't cut it in every case

And remember: commit early and often :) Commits are cheap. Code isn't.

update: 30 seconds. not joking! editing a dependency to test something, accidentally reinstalled all dependencies over my changes
