My main issue is the fact that Coko Foundation isn't actually interested in input and is happy to throw links and quote tweets to make a non

existent point and relishes the fact I mentioned how confusing the intro is esp to neuroatypical ppl.

Heya! I had to join another meeting -
@o_guest I'm with you on your confusion - the use of I when no title page, and the push back! -
Seems like listening to the lived experience of people who are not the authors makes a lot of sense.
-
Easy fix: add an author, use we, or explain the construct before the reader jumps in!

It's only because
@o_guest is on this thread that I bothered to work out how to scroll down on https://www.cabbagetree.org/ . Now I'm sorry I did. -
For me it renders as a book reader with left/right page turns. Why sorry?
-
well, it's the web in 2017, so I was expecting the mouse scroll wheel to work. lol. Why am I sorry? because of the issues that Guest raises.
-
Ah, I don't have a scroll wheel so didn't experience that - thanks for feedback. Discussing the other issues with Olivia to understand.
-
The issue is that to use "I" you have to have an identity.
-
I see that. I had never previously conceived that it might affect people's reading of it. Trying to understand why that happens...
-
You can synthesize an identity, you can be "The Coko Collective" and use I.
-
Yes I understand the suggested solutions, but not how/why it affects people when they are not used.
