Person's photo at the top of CV - is this a common thing in Europe or elsewhere?

i've seen it in us + used it on job search. i like it but was awkward when a faculty member on an interview slagged me hard for doing it.

Maybe not illegal, but certainly puts employers in unnecessarily complex legal situation. Need to reread civil rights law.

USA civil rights law, hence why I've forgotten it being in the UK.
