Why are you going to Starbucks for a frappé? Like going to a burger van and complaining that their rib-eye-steak sucks. Their burgers OTOH

Thanks for the concern though and the defence of Starbucks — I'm sure they need the PR.

-
I didn't buy an actual frappe BTW they don't know how to make them. It was just an iced latte.
-
Also a ton of INB4s that I'm too lazy to mention. So feel free to look at the thread.

I've recently just been avoiding Starbucks. Even most tiny cafes have much better quality/tasting coffee. Its no longer enjoyable
-
I haven't had it for years. I now remember why: I can taste the burnt beans.
-
So true! Not sure how it's outside London, but there's a lot of independent shops selling much better coffee for the same price (or lower..)
-
I know. I'm just lazy and went to closest to where I was when I realised my craving, sadly outside a Starbucks.
-
I do that with Costa sometimes, since there's few cafes around our uni. Almost always disappointed
-
TBF to you at least IMHO Costa >> Starbucks

that's why it needs peppermint syrup
-
Sugar would kill it for me. Frappé with sugar is not my thing.

-
they do a plain iced americano which is fine (to my tastes) but I agree, those syrups are too much
-
I can taste they burnt the beans. For me that's the worst bit. Even instant coffee isn't burn=flavoured.
