This brings me back to using "Ivory tower" to mean academic life. I disagree with this phrase. I think it's not representative of our work.
That's great. And I probably would agree with much of your talk, but I can't agree with using a weaponsised, IMHO, phrase, esp prominently.

Anti-science ideology has affected everybody. And in my opinion, no need to add to it by adoption of their rhetoric, even if just a phrase.

Here in the UK politicians often use such language and given lack of respect for science and academics more broadly I can only sadly say it
