I literally wrote my entire dissertation on how we can trace islamophobia back to Ancient Greece

I'd love to know more.
-
So it was about Victorian attitudes towards Islam and how ismalophobia intersected with racism and classism. Basically the question I was...
-
asking was was it worse to be black, Muslim or poor (turns out victorians hated black africans ever so slightly more than Islam)
-
So part of it was looking at the roots of islamophobia & how it can be traced back to Ancient Greece where they viewed the East as barbaric
-
And then how in medieval Europe people started freaking out about the rise of Islam and so made up a load of shit about how it's violent etc
-
And then how that got a resurgence in the Victorian era because of the emphasis on classical education and also increased migration to U.K.
-
This is very close to my heart. I'm from one of the epicentres of the direct effects of Islamophobia. I'm from Cyprus.

So tell me this white girl. If you're so cool and trendy, why do you only follow 10 minorities out of 2000? Take your time.
