a shapefile and serves it to the user as a map?

They showed how, given a shapefile, you could make an html with an interactive map. The .shp->.html step was offline, could be automated.

But they didn't have the upload and automation, and it served a d3js "image", not something static (so may not be useful?).

If it can take a shapefile and make a map it sounds super useful!
