So for econs then you (eventually) wouldn't have to cite a preprint anyway as the final pub form would eventually exist right?

I wonder if psych ppl are worried that the low quality of some psych preprints would ruin stuff? No idea if this is true, just a guess.

I also would love to know what kind of level of publish peer review they have in those fields. Would make me so happy if comments are left!

I had such a great experience with my one preprint but I have seen other preprints with few or no comments and that worried me a little.

Yes though citation patterns suggest both continue to be cited. Advances in linking preprinted and pubs will address (e.g. Crossref).

Yeah, I noticed biorxiv updated to point to the published elife & google scholar realises I have only a single paper, i.e., does not show 2.
