I'm not sure what you mean by that. Offending people is not actually always a bad thing. Offending white supremacists is pretty nice.

In same way punching is generally bad but specifically good in the case of first meets Nazis. Offence can be used to make shitheads go away.

by the way, in Singapore there is quite a bit of racism against white people. Lived there more than 7 years, saw it quite a bit.
