you almost made me choke
(eating gummy peach rings) are you serious?
So to say the brain is not a computer you would, in my opinion, have to show it doesn't compute. And that would demonstrate (somehow) that

what Turing built, a computer, to model those women was wrong. But it works and he wasn't.

-
But like I said, I don't particularly want to "decovert" people from their definition of computer or convince anything I am right.
-
I don't actually believe in convincing people in many cases as I don't think it's a valuable exercise.

-
haha, i love scientific debate and i often leave debates with a different point of view, i just don't like when things get personal
-
I don't mind them but I need to get work done.

ok, and vice versa, right? to say the brain is a computer you have to show it computes
-
But computes is defined by the brain itself. The whole concept was created to describe the women at Bletchley park. So why show something
-
that is true by definition? It's like defining black as 000 in RGB and then asking me to prove it's black. I can but it's kind of pointless?
