that's actually different from saying the brain is a computer. That's the metaphor I think is inaccurate.

I don't want to convince you either way but to me 100% the brain is a computer by definition of a computer.

A computer is literally defined by the functions a brain carries out. Turing defined it that way based on the WW2 computers who were women.
