Bigger than house or tube mice, roughly double their size I'd say.
-
I'm thinking rat myself

that's Rattus norvegicus, juvenile by the looks of it! Easiest to distinguish from all UK mice by thickness of tail compared to body
-
they are super cute and interesting - we used to have a huge colony in our Bristol back garden until neighbour exterminated them :(
-
the garden was raised compared to the house so we could sit in the living room and watch them go about their lives

-
What a fucking douche bag.

-
yeah they actually illegally entered the garden while we were out and lied to the exterminato company that it was theirs
-
they couldn't get their head around the idea that exterminating them from the garden made 0 difference to disease risk
-
Wow
I think I would have reported all of them to every appropriate authority. Rspca, council, police. -
yeah I wanted to, but we were renting from an old friend and they wanted to maintain good relationship with the neighbour

I know you don't like mice but these are 100% rats and I promise I will never bring them to work.

Large ears, I'd say mouse. But the tail looks hairless which would be rat. Given the apparent size, mouse.
-
Apparently rat! Norwegian rat!

I'd say rat, b/c of the tail. Cute eyes!

Yeah, I'm thinking rat.

Big tail makes me think this is a rat! But I'm not sure because it has a mouse-like face!!
-
Juvenile brown rat is the consensus.
-
Ah! Juvenile accounts for smaller mouse-like face I guess!
