Really? If I *don't* report plagiarism, I will get in to severe trouble myself (and will be seen as an accomplice).
-
Actually, a PI not reporting harassment *should* be seen as an accomplice as well, as far as I am concerned.
-
In USA, the tenure system/ fame/ power sometimes protect PIs who harass. This is one case: https://www.buzzfeed.com/katiejmbaker/famous-philosophy-professor-accused-sexual-harassment?utm_term=.yb2jBxAaD1#.vleB0oKzlb …
-
also heard from others to avoid certain PIs during conferences bc they are handsy. Why dont they report? fear of retaliation/not getting job
-

hence why many grad students dont go to Lip Gloss or whatever that creepy party w/ faculty after SPSP
-

-
what the f? Have only been to SPSP once - never heard of this, but this sounds horrible.

Just FYI: UCL harassment/bullying policy http://ln.is/www.ucl.ac.uk/hr/doc/JOaAV … - my experience is reports taken seriously and acted on promptly

I have only been at UCL for a few months but can attest it's much more professional than previous places I have worked in many respects.
