Couldn't NSF and NIH create an automatic system for #preregistering studies based on funded grant proposals?
That doesn't make sense why you'd want to force them to prereg then.

Like most folks, I prefer incentives over requirements. But, funders are in a unique position to create incentives to adopt best practices.

2/2 Open Science will of course not solve that in it's slipstream and Open Science cannot be fully open without at least addressing it.
