my honest impression of women in science initiatives is their solidarity with senior colleagues while not caring about junior colleagues.
This is why I keep my women friends very close in science because they are the ones that I cherish extra since they don't do this shit.

i would not trust anyone enough for that. if there is an issue, say someone harasses you, i would not trust anyone to be in my back

The ones who do this stuff I tend not even have the energy to call out because of how exhausting it is to me to have to explain why it is
-
they should not do this.

-
and then i go to a women in science meeting and get told: "women don't whine - if you work very hard then you will make it"wtf
-
ugh I'm so sorry
-
Apparently "if u [get harassed] that means you're prob doing something right" but scientists shld be mature?
-
when i posted this i meant a different form of harassment than discussed, sorry.
-
um, what did you mean?
-
be openly verbally hostile and/or sabotaging one's work
