Why do we still need to submit horrible looking manuscripts (double spacing, figs separately) to journals when we build them in LaTeX?

I wish that were true — do you know of a template that saves figs into separate PDFs? I used: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/140796/generating-a-separate-pdf-file-of-tables-and-figures-from-a-latex-file …

also if you know a better template than apa6 I'd love that too!

papaja does for rmarkdown. It can even put them at the end. Use this to embed custom fonts.pic.twitter.com/1ypxNmsrRO

I thought we were talking about LaTeX?

I have LaTeX custom fonts nailed — useful for CV (to look like my website) but how relevant here? https://github.com/oliviaguest/cv

My solution is for if you want to embed system-level TTF in figure PDFs generated by R.

No, I don't need that at all. But thanks.
