Define pure maths in quotes. Both. Frequentists: probability is frequency — Bayesians: probability is degree of belief.

yes they are subject to proof and disproof — but even in pure maths some things are defined, like addition is defined.

Just to be clear it really is party night and I don't give 101 maths for stats classes for free and on twitter.
