yes, in our small academic bubble, the fool could very well be the ill advised adviser.
but my arguments extend to the advisor... They also can't be called a "fool" for trusting
the old flawed system. It's systemic change, we need them to listen. Calling people names
and casting blame is fundamentally misplaced.
