How many of you science tweeps use git(hub) for your data/code?

I collected some data on this recently. Lots of people use Github to store/share, a lot less use it for version control.

a useful "gateway drug" into vcontrol. I often 'sell it' to code-phobics on basis that it's "unlimited Dropbox storage"
