Late to the party, but ICYMI: Interesting post on why we shouldn't teach matlab to students (and other things that make matlab hateable)https://twitter.com/o_guest/status/842794088315404288 …
You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
the gut reaction is probably being a bit defensive if you use it. I don't mind, don't have strong feelings, looking forward to R &
or did but backfired because they are brand-loyal...
ha, yes - they're spending a lot of money on it so of course they're loyal. I guess it's up to ppl like you to up the game
yeah or get killed trying...

you can always do it under the table ("psst psst. Want some good stuff?")
I don't try to deconvert Matlab people in person — it usually ends badly. I think only one person in my lab currently uses it and
in previous lab only 2. Most use R and Python thankfully. I worry even more about those who don't git TBH.
github you mean? Yea that would be me
never thought I needed that TBH. Need to sort my life out...
maybe a post on good practices/tools? *wink wink nudge nudge*
