that's so sweet of you — unfortunately not. But I can think of stuff that teaches principles as well as eg python.
That would be great. I mainly focus on R and Python so anything that would improve my coding for them would be much appreciated.
oh a preexisting coder? No idea... Possibly try a programming 101 video lecture within a computer science department? 
if you already can code I'm not sure what theory you need? Do you know about time and space complexity?
I'm self-taught with a lot of trial and error. I know my code is very inelegant when other people have looked at it. And no sorry.
so yeah maybe some theory would help you out? I really don't know what happens to people who aren't formally trained.
like if they enjoy learning theory or if they don't see the point etc etc
Some theory would be great! If I get too bogged down in it, I can just concentrate on my code.
