My main angle is that false allegations are still totally capable of ruining a career and people who make them should be prosecuted

there's little motive to falsely accuse somebody of raping you... it's admitting something extremely taboo and shameful: rare

there's no definite — human memory = not precise, expert witnesses shown later to be wrong, eye-witness accounts = problematic

that's great for you, punishment and justice are delicate and yes, rehab is important but so is closure for victims/survivors
