to stop weekend migraine I also sometimes take naproxen starting Thur ending Sun — but I might skip since new preventative.

My migraines without all this would be daily and I would get fired and die of starvation tho. So I am 100% dependant.

wow cool thanks for update, guess I'm lucky cause I only get them weekly when stressed and monthly otherwise (worsening with age).

I do not go to GP. I go to migraine charity which is a private practice. I hate GP — altho after 10 years found perfect 1.

triptans **cannot** be used preventatively tho...

yes I don't think I'm on the levels of preventatives, although this month I've had 3, so that's why I thought triptans an option

but they only work during an attack — they are by definition not a preventative.

yeah I'm kinda just looking for some relief for the monthly period one because that one can last *days*

yeah maybe go for a nasal spray or an orodispersible one... I mean if your GP won't give it... fuck it buy illegally!

you can't die from taking it and it's not like it's addictive.
