I am not contributing to the hashtag bc I'm also not a "prank person", but reading them was a good distraction.

Why are the
#labprank examples considered funny? Without context they're really disturbing. I'd genuinely dislike working in such labs.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

I personally I don't prank people unless it is something they would enjoy, & encourage others to do the same.

But without context it's hard to know what the hashtag is advocating. Can easily be about bullying.

I enjoy pranks so that did not cross my mind. Certainly do not want to advocate bullying!

I respect you wanted to have fun but twitter finds a way for even the best intentions to backfire. I'm genuinely troubled by what I saw.

One tweet I commented on got deleted by the poster because they realised it was terrible advice. It was a top tweet in the hashtag.

I explained why it was bad and could even get people fired. And they realised without context it's close to malpractice. Pranks at work.
