why is this a postdoc? a computer science undergraduate could also be trained at this... or does it mention phd is req?

yes potentially. The job description though does sound a lot like a PD job. Comp sci may need training in Psych methods.

either way if this is a PD, it's underpaid by a grade or more, and if it is a UG RA job it's actually p good training.
