I've heard this reported just as much by male friends as female, so this once it's probably "just" fatphobia, but yeah.

ah I was basing it on some trans guys' experiences I've read about, but I'm obviously off here.
body policing has been very prominent in my life as has my weight — I didn't expect to veer off in this direction though.

Yeah, "exercise more" is definitely not bad advice. It just tends to be a bit irritating when doctors try to prescribe it.
