Pet peeve: Really dislike pretending to be in another "harder" field. If you call self an engineer but in psy dept doing psy, fuck off, etc.

You might be diff. I came from compsci but I think it's offensive to keep saying I'm a compsci, all my pubs are in psychology.

yeah. This is why I've always been wary of "comp cog sci" and similar terms. Specificity is useful. But it also cuts the other way
