I like that I can compile LaTeX files by pressing a few keys in Sublime. Not sure if Atom can do similar?

fair enough, I use kile on Linux. There's an even better one on Mac. Forgot the name though.

I guess I take the opposite approach--use Windows, Mac, and Linux on daily basis, all have their strengths :P

I use Mac and Linux. But can't see point tbh of anything other than Linux for my work.
