Got asked if I am British at the GP today... I said "yes, I am legally British." Apparently they wanted to know my ethnicity. Not the same.

my Singaporean ID says "race: caucasian". An Israeli friend there had to fight them putting "Jew" (sic!) on his ID

my Cypriot id has/had religion on it I think... But they put orthodox because atheism is not allowed

in Singapore many forms have "religion" too; they don't have "atheist" choice, but there is "free thinker" :)

I worked under hardcore Christian bosses. They asked for a moment of silence to pray before meals. And promoted their kind :-)

I understand. I was also forced to do similar at a government run school that was supposed to be secular. Tiring
