I didn't know that but it doesn't surprise me. Paracetamol scares me and I only take it mixed with codeine for emergencies.

(I don't get migraines, but I do sometimes get headaches so bad that only migraleve or similar will shift them)

NSAIDs over paracetamol always. For various reasons, can't overdose easily, can't damage liver, actually stop pain, but use

I'm aware ibuprofen is supposed to do bad things to your stomach but I've literally never had this side effect despite heavy use.

pro cos you have a less acidic stomach for wtv reason. Perhaps you eat with it. It's just + more acid so if able to cope fine!

I pretty frequently take ibuprofen on an empty stomach and it's never been a problem, so I guess the less acid one is plausible.

Right, I mean less acid by default. I often take ibuprofen first thing when I wake up and have zero issues. Lucky me I guess.

Indeed not. 400mg normally. Sometimes same again in short succession, but I usually go for paracetamol + codeine then.
