I don't talk Mod Greek ever to fam though because my mum is Cyp (not dad hence surname). I only learned Mod Greek @ school.

I look some words up sometimes or ask Cypriot (or Greek) academics the words. Like cognitive science is γνωσιακή επιστήμη.
