if it's any consolation most code is terrible including mine. My LaTeX to my thesis is out there w typos and everything.

although i quite often reuse bits of ppls code, they might think the same - you code may make many strangers lives better!

that makes me happy - hopefully none of my C code breaks anybody's graphics card or maybe that would be cool too!
