not a number is meaningless to compare to a number

it's funny how people use the term reproducibility... *wink wink*https://twitter.com/o_guest/status/770285269828440064?s=09 …
-
am I not being correct?

-
I don't believe there is a wrong way! I'm no prescriptivist!

-
I just linked that because I wrote it and it came out yesterday.

-
I'm reading it now. I find the point about not needing original code interesting. I've heard people say w/r/t analyses that >
-
> reproducibility is all about being able to take someone's code and get the same result. I prefer your definition, though.
-
well that definition is out there just not applicable (imho) to computational modelling since for us the model is the experiment
-
True. For experimental stuff the data and the description of the analysis in the paper should be sufficient, imo.

if you need inspiration/guidance on this front, all the code is here, this's actually what runs my site http://github.com/oliviaguest/oliviaguest.github.io …
-
thanks! Putting together a website is definitely on my to-do list. I'm not in 3rd year yet so figure I don't need to panic

-
no reason to panic for sure but no reason not make one on http://github.com either. Better to have your CV online asap imho.
-
yeah, very true. I'll been dawdling deciding the best place to put it. But given github's awesome that might be the best
-
well it's definitely easy to set up

-
I think I'd go for a nice interactive set up with all the links like yours

-
haha well I'm using this so that's actually easy for you to make your own if you wish http://jordnkr.github.io/collapsible/
