How long do I have to battle with "pdfTeX error (ext4): \pdfendlink ended up in different nesting level than \pdfstartlink."?

Battling LaTeX as well. :-) Typesetting chemical equations at the moment, and rather than crashing, it just compiles with no end...

ok - after hours of work - you must explicitly ask for XeLaTeX (it'll not do it automatically) and boom fixed!

hours because there were bibtex bugs too (by myself) - but the main one is the real one with PdfLaTeX and hyperef.
