Worries me that pubs with high altmetrics = often crappy. Obv doesn't mean peer rev = not broken.

My biggest personal issue w peer rev's been use of insulting lang. 2/2've had verbal abuse so far.
-
That is awful. So sorry. My biggest issue with it is the time it wastes (work-time and elapsed time)

Would love to see wht happns to journal without peer review. Or only works iff system-wide?
-
Can't tell yet. Experiments like F1000 Research, ScienceOpen, are encouraging.

Check any paper on SO Research - all comments civil, constructive, and critical - it works :)

the mor I thnk abt it the mor I want to know: are they are cited like "typical" journal pubs - stats?
-
like = as much as. I know we dislike impact factors, but metrics are needed of some type, right?
-
Our papers are cited, yes! I can gather stats for you asap :)
