This is not the first time I’ve seen Dr. Lee Jussim bully Black female early career academics on Twitter, and I don’t even follow him. I think many people in social psych dismiss him as a “rabble rouser”, as he likes to call himself. His behavior is much more serious than that.https://twitter.com/abebab/status/1152896440340844545 …

Jussim is out here calling a Black female grad student, a "racist". A white female academic tweeted that gender inequality doesn’t exist, and in response, Abeba pointed out the academic’s status as a white woman. Apparently brining attention to whiteness is racist.

Dr. Lee Jussim has the same opinions on Black people being “racist” as my grandfather, who, in 1967, kept my mother home from school for two weeks in **protest** of **desegregation**. Neither Jussim nor my bigoted grandfather are interested in admitting power imbalances exist.

But that’s historically how things go, right? People point out groups who have a disproportionate amount of power, and then the response is, “that’s sexist/racist/homophobic to even mention my group! You saying we’re oppressing you is oppressing us!"

Exhibit A: "WHERE ARE WHITE CIVIL RIGHTS??" High status groups ignore centuries of injustice and try to claim they, too, are victims of oppression, when marginalized people speak up.

Yeah the TERF and SWERF thing is not a coincidence. Anti diversity ideas cluster together.
