I wish I had these on some level. I've never had visual aura but I do get somatosensory aura.

I actually find these quite scary, because it really impedes my vision and can be quite disorienting :( But the picture looks gorgeous!

Sorry to hear. Same with the somatosensory aura, like needles spiking my skin and similar. It's just everyone thinks migraine has visual aura and talks to me about it and many don't even know about other modality auras.

Indeed! That's super interesting to learn about - I have never experienced the somatosensory aura! (Also sounds very unpleasant!)

Yeah, it's actually become rarer as I get older and less stressed. So that's something. Do you get really clumsy and floppy in your prodrome?pic.twitter.com/h3isB1vL4q

I absolutely do (but I would also describe myself as a bit floppy in everyday life :D)! Super helpful graph - this explains my weird ups and downs that go along with the migraine! Interesting as well that yours are also connected to stress.

Mostly hormones. But yeah, stress, flights, not sleeping. Check out more stuff on prodrome because there's a lot of good research in the last decade to help with understanding our condition. LMAO at us being floppy.

Will, do, thanks! (I feel silly for not having looked this up before!) --> Very tempted to put 'floppy human' in my Twitter bio now

It's all relatively new stuff. I've been going to a specialist migraine clinic in London for literally a decade so I have watched it slowly become typical information to give patients. But like GPs don't know anything about this — I guess it's why it's worth getting referred.

Also yes to floppy humans.
